Best Kids' Art Projects

Is information technology too late for a "best of last year" post? I think not. I've been checking out which posts hither on Artchoo have garnered the virtually attention, and it's e'er interesting for a blogger to see what posts people are drawn to the most.

ane. Sharpie Shoes– This was a big hitting, and probably my single favorite projection likewise, combining fashion blueprint, drawing, graphic design, and really merely the thrill of being able to "use" something yous've created.

two.Colored Cardstock Collage Project– I'chiliad a huge fan of colored cardstock, and and so are kids. They won't want to go back to regular former deadening construction paper once they've gotten their hands on this stuff. It's a fiddling more expensive than construction paper, only it's so worth it. Of class, I didn't purchase information technology for my kids until they were past the historic period of ripping through art materials without caring what they were doing.

3. Andy Goldsworthy Installation Art Project – Wowza. This i got tons of feedback. Mayhap because his work is then inspiring, or perchance because it'southward such a slap-up jumping off point for kids to make their own art. In any result, projects based on Goldsworthy's art are open-ended and stress-gratis (the finished product completely doesn't thing, because it stays out in nature.) Probably the best role is that y'all tin all exist together as a family unit and even the youngest of kids tin can participate.

4. Sketchbook Cover Ideas–  Kids honey their sketchbooks, and they are fabricated even more exciting and personal when they become to personalize the cover. This mail service shows how Fen made hers, as well as showing other ideas for inspiration.

five.Stencil Painting for Wee ones – Finally, we've got a unproblematic projection for preschoolers/toddlers. At this age, it's important for them to just exist able to push some paint effectually on a surface. This project adds a little excitement with the use of a sheet of circumvolve stencils.
